Statement of Purpose

    Christodora, offers children from economically disadvantaged families in New York City a range of environmental education programs designed to increase their knowledge and understanding of the natural world and to challenge them to develop their self-confidence and leadership skills. Through our educational programs we seek to deliver responsible citizens who will be leaders in their communities and will be effective stewards for the environment.
